Well, it appears that most of me free time is either spent here on Wooden Dice or on my PSP at the moment, what an interesting life I lead. Besides that though I am currently taking my GCSEs and juggling these with my so called ''Archery Career" Hazaa! I'm now shooting at a regional level, for East Midlands, and am finally in the position where I am (officially) the best Junior archer in Leicestershire and Rutland. Alas world domination still looks a long way away...
Anyway, on Wooden Dice I am trying to sort out a clan, it's harder work than I expected so if you'd like to help out just PM me.

Although I'm sure that all of you that would actually care already know about this: Raidiohead's new album became available for download on Monday and, as far as I'm aware it's the first album where you only pay the amount that you want. Having produced the album themselves, I think their company is called W.A.S.T.E. it means that all profit will be given directly to them, instead of being split between stores, the record company and the band and so they are able to charge anything. And by anything I mean literally anything, I payed £5.00 (plus 45 pence because i payed by debit card), but I know several people at school who payed nothing just so they could say they've got another album.

If you bought the album then how much did you pay? Do you think all music should be produced this way? Discuss, if you will...

In Rainbows can be found here.

Well, on my last clear out of all the crappy games and stuff I had on my PC I got a little bit clicker happy and deleted Firefox. 'No biggy,' I thought, 'I'll jsut reinstall it and it'll be easy as.' Unofrtunately this was yet another time when my PC decided to screw me over, making it extremely difficult to install the browser by simply deciding not to install anything for a while. Anyway after about an hour of getting pissed at my PC (and thus kicking it repeatedly and throwing the mouse halfway across the room) it worked, taking only a few seconds to install Firefox...

My problem now is that I have not idea what add-ons I had on my previous installment (for some reason half of them remained on my PC and started working again when installed FF whereas the rest have vanished). So I'm open to suggestion really, what add-ons do you think are worth using and what aren't etc. One thing I would like however is something that can spell check my posts, I did have an add-on that did this but that's one of the many that vanished, hense I'm making more and more mistakes at the moment.

I'm also pretty open to any suggestions on a better browser, I've tried Opera and despised it and IE just pisses me off. So other than those two are there any worth looking into?

I'm pretty open to other stuff too... but we wont go into that here... heh heh

This is something I found quite funny on the YourPSP forums. The aim of the game is simply to beat the picture above by posting another one.

Here are just some guidelines to it: -

1) You have to post a picture that beats the person above you. It would also help if you give a brief explanation of your picture. (eg. X > Y)

2) You can put up a picture of anything invulnerable like God, nukes or something similar (contrary to the thread on the YourPSP forums) but remember that they can still be beaten in this game. There is not winner at the end, it's just a bit of fun...

3) And try not to re-use someone else's picture.

Right I'll start off with Jesus then: -

Right ho. I am well and truly fed up of Windows because, well, its jsut a bit shit really. Due to this I am thinking of investing in a Linux or a Mac based operating system. I basically only use my PC now for the internet, music and school work, which consists of the basic essay righting to graphic design and so my friend, who surprisingly owns a Mac, suggested getting a Mac which i would quite like to do though it would mean my bank balance would decrease dramitically. As i don't really have enough money for this right now I looked at what else I could use.
Although my computer skills are O.K. they aren't great and so I don't want to do anything that will well and truly screw my PC up. However from what I have read I can run Linux on my current PC and this is something I would quite like to try out. I am unsure whether I could due this because of the software I need. Currently I have a wireless network and am using a Netgear USB Wireless Adapter to connect to this network and so my first question is would this work with Linux or would I have to buy another that would work, it did come with an instalation Cd however that doesn't appear to be OS dependant. Secondly I will need word processing and graphics programs so are there any cheap/free programs that I could run off Linux or would I have to pay out a hefty sum of money. Also are there any MSN like programs for Linux (preferably any that support webcam and voice chat), then theres my webcam, will that work with Linux or would I have to buy another? And finally, are there any decent media programs for Linux (such as Windows Media Player and Itunes/Quicktime)?

If you could give me some help on this, either by answering my questions or simply offering advice, I would be very grateful. If you need anymore information to answer my questions then just ask.

Thanks.

Is there any chance you could start up a blogs/hobbies section on Wooden Dice?

I think they'd get a lot of interest as quite a few people on these boards are interested in the same sort of things and it would give us a place to put the clan website or at least links to the websites.
